Personal Life:
- The biggest event this week was getting my wisdom tooth extracted. This is the second wisdom tooth I've had extracted, and I fully experienced what it means to be at the mercy of others. I can only say it was painful, too painful. I never want to have another wisdom tooth extracted again. I hope the remaining two won't grow.
- I finished watching the popular drama "Angry Life" this week. Before watching it, I briefly read some reviews on Douban. Some comments said it's really satisfying to see East Asians go crazy and that the environment in East Asia is suffocating. I thought this drama would analyze the growth environment and history of East Asians, but after watching it, I realized it was only a part of it. I can understand some people's lack of self-identification and self-hatred towards East Asia, but after watching this drama, I feel that if you only see this aspect, it's too biased. From a road rage incident to mutual revenge between two people, to the subsequent disintegration of their lives and the death of the male and female leads, I was neither surprised nor saddened. If there is one characteristic of East Asians, it is that they only desire a change in their environment but do not want to change themselves. Of course, this only applies to those who self-hate and still complain about their original families and society. The male and female leads in the drama are pitiful, but they are also evil. Their suffering is not enough reason to harm others without guilt. (This seems like a good topic for a review)
- I discovered that cats have a sense of smell. My cat doesn't like the smell of toothpaste, and I noticed that whenever I brush my teeth, he would stare at me from a distance. When I squeeze out the toothpaste, he would bare his teeth and make a face, as if the toothpaste was right in front of his nose, full of disgust. It's really cute.
- After drinking Luckin's iced coconut latte, I felt a sensation in my throat, as if something was stuck. But then I discovered the secret: Luckin has a cold thick coconut milk that can keep the ice cubes from melting for three hours.

- Finished reading "How to Become an Imperfectionist," a very good book. I haven't finished reading all of Steve Jobs' quotes, so I plan to read them sporadically. It overlaps too much with "Steve Jobs: The Exclusive Biography."
- When exporting bookmarks, I found that iOS has canceled the function of exporting all bookmarks, so now I can only export them one by one. Fortunately, I found a plugin that can directly sync bookmarks to note-taking software. Thanks to the developers.
- I tried living with binary thinking, a concept also proposed by Stephen Gates. It means treating completed tasks as 1 and unfinished tasks as 0. When we try to do something, we shouldn't make it too specific or set too many perfect criteria, as this is most likely to result in inaction. If the task doesn't succeed, reflect on whether it was an accident or a failure. If it was an accidental factor, stubbornly try again. If it was a failure, try a different approach. If it's difficult to distinguish between the two, adjust the approach based on the degree of failure.
- Yesterday, when I synchronized my local Hugo project to GitHub, I found that my token had expired, so I had to reapply for one. But when I tried to use the token in the terminal, it prompted that GitHub had removed password login. The solution provided by the assistant didn't work either. Later, I searched through the GitHub documentation and updated my login password in the keychain, then re-entered it in the terminal to solve the issue.
- It's troublesome to manually synchronize GitHub every time I create a new file. I'm thinking about whether I can automatically sync or quickly sync through ob. I finally found a tutorial after a long search, but I always get stuck when creating a macro script with quickadd. I don't know what went wrong. Later, I tried to use ob git to solve it, but my software froze after enabling ob git. I had to uninstall it from the root directory to recover. Currently, I'm still manually uploading, and I'll study it further when I have time.
- I was woken up by a work voice message this morning, saying that there will be a meeting at 10 o'clock, and they suddenly asked for a complete brand plan in the form of an annual framework, including a recommendation for a brand spokesperson, in preparation for the brand's launch in two years. There was no brief or specific usable information, which is actually okay. In our line of work, there are many clients like this, who can afford to spend more time. What shocked me was when they asked for the deadline, and they said tomorrow. Exo me? I can't believe it. It takes a day to create a complete plan. Can this level of quality really be considered responsible to the client? But what I can guarantee is that even if ChatGPT comes, I won't be able to deliver the plan by tomorrow.
